MOPS at Oakbrook Community Church

MOPS at Oakbrook Community Church is a new ministry this year. We are very excited to serve Christ and our community through this ministry. Our group meets twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:00am - 11:15pm at Oakbrook Community Church. For directions to the church, please click here.

Our MOPS meeting offer:
     -A haven for soothing frazzled nerves and forming lifelong friendships.
     -A chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast while fellowshipping with other moms.
     -A quality children's program where little ones are cared for and loved through activities.
     -An inspirational speaker who shares biblical truths and practical ways to fulfill the various roles of mother, wife, and
       woman.
     -An opportunity to complete a craft project that moms probably wouldn't have the time or energy to attempt at home.
     -A place to gain perspective and balance in a group that helps to bring out the best in moms.

MOPS Library
The MOPS Library is on display at every meeting. Our library includes books on motherhood, parenting, and other topics of interest. There are some children's books and videos, too! Moms can borrow any of the items available and should be returned in a timely manner. We are looking to expand our library and would love your help. If you would like to donate any books or materials to the MOPS Library, please contact email Cara.

Book Reviews
This year, our group will be doing Book Reviews. Many authors and publishers have donated books of different genres (including fiction, romance, Bible studies, children's books and more) for our group to read and review. The reviews will put put in our newsletter as well as on our website and submited to online bookstores such as Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.
